The delinquency of a ship bearing oil derivatives on the coast of Shabwa

Local sources reported that a commercial ship bearing oil derivatives near the coast of the Radhoum Directorate in Shabwa Governorate, amid warnings of an environmental catastrophe.
According to local sources, the ship that carries a large amount of diesel, suddenly dismissed near the Qena Commercial Port in Razoum, due to the high waves and strong winds.
Al -Shabwani activist Ali Al -Nassi indicated that the ship had been anchored for three years due to differences between its local owner and its crew, and that the high waves were washed away yesterday, which caused its delinquency and its larging from the diesel to the sea water.
He added that Major General Al -Bahri imposed a security collar around the ship to prevent approaching it or steal its cargo, but he stressed that these measures are not sufficient to deal with the crisis.
Al -Nisi launched an urgent appeal to the authorities of Shabwa Governorate and the ministries of the environment, oil and fish wealth, calling for sending specialized field teams to deal with the oil dropout and the siege of the polluted spot.
