The judicial authorities in Kuwait referred former Finance Minister Anwar Al-Mudhaf and a businessman to the Criminal Court on charges of seizing public money in an amount exceeding 4 million Kuwaiti dinars.
This referral comes within the framework of a lawsuit related to a major company in which the state contributes, as the former minister held the position of CEO of the company. According to the details, the minister signed a contract granting financial benefits without obtaining the approval of the Board of Directors, in cooperation with the vice president of the company.
According to what was stated on the account of the Kuwaiti “Council” on the “X” platform, the businessman, who holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, helped the former minister seize this amount.
