The Public Funds Prosecution, with the participation of the Security Belt Forces, closed today a number of illegal and unlicensed money exchange shops in Al Dhalea Governorate, in implementation of the directives of the Attorney General, Judge Qaher Mustafa, and in implementation of the Central Bank’s procedures against violating money exchange shops.
The campaign was able to close 15 violating shops, which came under the direct supervision of Judge Ali bin Ali Al-Jamal, Deputy Public Funds Prosecutor, and under the guidance of the Director General of the Governorate Police and Commander of the Security Belt, Brigadier General Ahmed Qayed Al-Qubba.
Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Qubba stressed that the security services will firmly confront any violator of the law, stressing his full support for the strict legal measures taken by the prosecution and the Central Bank to limit the spread of unlicensed exchange shops, which have negatively affected the national economy.
