A responsible government source confirmed that Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak left the capital, Aden, heading to the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to consult with the political leadership, brothers, and friends regarding urgent economic support to overcome the existing challenges and changes in the price of the national currency.
The Prime Minister will also hold discussions on continuing the reforms implemented by the government in various economic, financial and administrative aspects, as well as combating corruption, enhancing transparency and accountability, and the measures taken to ensure the government’s continued fulfillment of its imperative obligations.
He did not disclose the size of Saudi financial support to the government, and it is mentioned that Saudi Arabia has supported millions of dollars recently and there has been no change in the price of the Yemeni currency, which is constantly collapsing.
