The Central Bank confirmed in a statement published on its official website, the sale of 13.4 million dollars, out of a total of 30 million, which was displayed at the auction, and at a exchange rate of 2172 riyals per US dollar.
The bank said that “4 participants applied for auction No. (3/2025) to sell 30 million dollars, while the number of advanced bidding was 10, all of which were accepted, indicating that the coverage rate reached 45%.”
This auction is the third announced by the Central Bank for the sale of foreign currencies, since the beginning of this year, after a hiatus of about three months, and the 27th since Saudi Arabia announced the support of the Yemeni economy by one billion and two hundred million dollars to support the stability of the national currency exchange, on August 1.
