The Secretary-General of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi, indicated the necessity of directing revenues to the treasury of the Central Bank to ensure the stability of the Yemeni riyal.

In a tweet on his official Twitter account, Al-Jaadi confirmed that transferring revenues to the treasury of the Central Bank, especially the revenues of Ma’rib Governorate, is the only way for the Yemeni riyal to recover.

Al-Jaadi added that the continuation of parties that refrain from supplying revenues increases the suffering of the Yemeni people, and they must take immediate steps to ensure the flow of revenues to the Central Bank.

Al-Jaadi concluded his statement by calling for comprehensive economic reforms to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
