In an important meeting that included officers and heads of departments of the Lahj Governorate Security Department, Brigadier General Nasser Al-Shouhti, Director of the Governorate’s Security, made a bold and poignant statement, during which he stressed the necessity of hard work and commitment to discipline to achieve the aspirations of the South to restore its independent state.
Al-Shouhti explained that slogans alone are not enough to convince the world of the ability of southerners to establish their state. Rather, this requires real effort and diligent work that reflects a civilized and positive image of the people of the south.
Al-Shouhti pointed out that security is everyone’s mission, and everyone must participate in maintaining the stability and security of the governorate, stressing that achieving security is not only the responsibility of the security authorities, but rather a common social responsibility shared by everyone. He said in his speech: “People’s rights are our responsibility, and we will impose the security prestige of Lahj Governorate by force and we will deal with all subversive and terrorist elements decisively.”
This statement comes at a sensitive time that requires all the people of the South to stand together and work to achieve their common goals away from empty slogans, which reflects a serious commitment from the Lahj security leadership to achieving stability and maintaining security in the region.
