Brigadier Ali Nasser Al-Mukar, Commander of the Sixth Support and Support Brigade, which is part of the Southern Forces, today survived an assassination attempt with an explosive device placed to target his convoy in the capital, Zanzibar, in Abyan Governorate, while he was carrying out a security mission, according to irresponsible reports.

It is noteworthy that Brigadier General Al-Makar is considered one of the prominent military figures with a good reputation, and enjoys wide respect and appreciation in Abyan Governorate.

He also played a pivotal role in combating terrorism through his participation in the “Arrows of the East” battle, which aroused the ire of terrorist elements who sought to obstruct his efforts and interrupt his movements.
