Today, the Narcotics Control Department in Al-Mahra Governorate arrested three people engaged in the trade of promoting prohibited and narcotic substances in one of the neighborhoods of the city of Al-Ghaydah.

The Deputy Director of the Anti-Control Department, Captain Muhammad Saad Makhbal, explained that the arrest operations came after monitoring and tracking the movements of the criminals over two consecutive days so that they were arrested in one of the residential neighbourhoods. He pointed out that one of the accused tried to clash with the anti-combat force using his personal weapon, but the force It took control of the situation and was able to deal according to the rules of engagement.

Captain Makhbal indicated that 22 Captagon pills, half a kilo of narcotic hashish, and a quantity of alcoholic beverages were seized from the defendants who were arrested in two different operations.

The drug control official reiterated that the drug control department will spare no effort to track down criminals and eliminate this malicious scourge with the combined efforts and cooperation of citizens.
