The city of Mukalla in Hadhramaut Governorate witnessed this evening widespread popular demonstrations today, as demonstrators closed the streets and burned car tires in protest against the power outage, the collapse of the Yemeni riyal, and the rise in prices. 

The demonstrators chanted angry slogans against the Yemeni government and the local authority, expressing their dissatisfaction with the deteriorating economic conditions and its direct impact on their daily lives. 

These demonstrations come at a time when the country is suffering from multiple crises, which has intensified popular anger and the outbreak of protests in several cities.
