US Central Command announced this evening that, over the past 24 hours, it had destroyed a Houthi surface-to-air missile system and radar, after identifying them as a clear and imminent threat to its forces, coalition forces, and commercial ships in the region.
The leadership explained that this measure was taken to protect freedom of navigation and ensure the safety of international waters.
Today, the Houthi militia targeted two commercial ships, causing one of the ships carrying the Greek flag to drift, after being targeted by three projectiles.
