The police departments in the southern and liberated governorates received 17 reports of seized criminal cases yesterday, Friday.
While 22 defendants were arrested for these cases, including 6 thefts, 5 mild intentional harms, and two threatening cases, in addition to 4 other cases of murder, attempted murder, an exchange of gunfire, and serious intentional harm.
Reports from the operations rooms in the governorates indicated that the police in the capital, Aden, arrested 6 defendants, a similar number in Ma’rib, 5 in Taiz, 3 in Hadramaut al-Sahel, and two in Abyan.
The governorates of Aden, Ma’rib, Taiz, Hadhramaut, Al-Sahel, Shabwa, and Al-Hudaydah reported that they were continuing to track down 9 people accused of criminal cases.
According to the Yemeni Interior Ministry's website, a person died in Aden in a suicide accident.
