An expanded security meeting was concluded in Lahj Governorate, held at the governorate’s office, headed by the Governor of Lahj, Ahmed Abdullah al-Turki, and the director of the governorate’s security, Brigadier General Nasser Al-Shouhti, which discussed many security developments in the governorate. The meeting was attended by senior security officials from various agencies and sectors.
During the meeting, the general security situation in the governorate was reviewed and the security challenges it faces were discussed, such as arranging and organizing security work, and addressing security imbalances.
The participants also touched on the procedures and measures necessary to enhance security and stability throughout the governorate, including strengthening cooperation between the security services and intensifying field efforts.
During the meeting, officials stressed the importance of continuous coordination and exchange of information between various concerned parties to ensure effective dealing with any potential security threats. The need for citizens to commit to their role in supporting security efforts through cooperation and reporting any suspicious activities was also emphasized.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a number of recommendations and executive procedures were agreed upon that will be implemented in the next phase, with the aim of enhancing security and stability in Lahj Governorate and ensuring the safety and security of citizens and property.
