The Yemeni embassy in Amman announced that the Jordanian authorities have placed a new condition on Yemeni children to enter the Kingdom, which is to obtain a certificate proving that they have received three doses of the polio vaccine.
A statement from the embassy stated that the Jordanian Ministry of Health issued a decision requiring all Yemeni children, under the age of 15, to hold a polio vaccination certificate issued by local health authorities or international organizations such as the World Health Organization and UNICEF.
This decision is scheduled to take effect as of next Monday, August 26.
