The head of the executive body of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Lahj Governorate, Waddah Al-Halmi, visited Radfan University College today, Saturday.
During his visit, Al-Halmi was briefed on the latest preparations for the inauguration of the college with its new departments recently developed in the fields of medical laboratories and computers, stressing that education at all levels receives the attention of the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council because of its role in the nation’s renaissance.
The interim CEO of Lahj heard from the Dean of the College, Dr. Adel Abdel Haq, a brief explanation of the progress of preparations and readiness for the launch of the academic year, the reception of students in their new majors in the public and parallel education system, and the plan to open the Accounting Department next year.
For his part, Dr. Abdel Haq expressed his thanks to the political leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, represented by President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, for his interest in the educational process and scientific institutions and his generous directives to build additional halls to accommodate the increasing demand for college departments.
