The Director General of the Public Health and Population Office in the capital, Aden, Dr. Ahmed Muthanna Al-Bishi, met in a library in the governorate with the coordinator of the Noon Women’s Bloc, Lieutenant Colonel Samoud Al-Yafei, and a member of the Noon Women’s Bloc, Dr. Asma Al-Raimi, in the presence of the Deputy Director-General of the Health Office in the governorate, Dr. Tariq Al-Shaabi.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation and coordination between the two sides, in developing and improving the infrastructure of the health system in the psychiatric hospital, and Al-Bishi was briefed by the coordinator of the Noon Women’s Bloc, Lieutenant Colonel Samoud Al-Yafei, about the interventions of the Noon Women’s Bloc in the hospital, with support and funding from the Saferworld organization, under direct supervision. From the Salam Foundation for Sustainable Communities, by providing a safe and supportive environment to provide psychological care to psychiatric hospital inmates, through agricultural activities, afforestation and planting ornamental trees, in addition to equipping a gym and a musical instrument hall for entertainment, for patients, inmates and beneficiaries of hospital visits.< /p>

 In turn, the Director General of Health in Aden, Dr. Al-Bishi, confirmed the provision of all necessary facilities to implement the project in the psychiatric hospital, which contributes to developing and improving the level of providing psychological care to hospital residents.
