Houthi media reported that the number of victims of heavy rains and resulting torrential rains in Hodeidah Governorate, under their control in western Yemen, rose to 86, including one dead and one injured.
The Houthi-run Saba Agency said that the number of victims of torrential rains and torrential rains rose to 69 deaths and 17 injured in the districts under the group’s control, after recording the death and injury of three new people. Among them is a girl.
She added that a recent statement by the group's "Emergency Committee in the Governorate" indicated that two people were killed, while a girl was injured as a result of two house collapses and a drowning incident.
The statement stated that two people died in two accidents where the roof of a house fell and drowned in the Al-Marawaa and Bajil districts, while a girl was injured as a result of the collapse of a house in the Al-Lahiya district.
