The government authorities in Hodeidah announced the release of 72 fishermen who had been detained in Eritrea since the beginning of this August.
This came according to a publication by the Hodeidah Governorate Information Office of the Yemeni government, which it published on the Facebook platform.
He said The government office said, “72 Yemeni fishermen arrived in Hodeidah Governorate after being detained in Eritrea since the beginning of August.”
He added that “The Governor of Hodeidah, Al-Hassan Taher, was receiving them in Al-Khawkhah District, south of the governorate.”
He explained that “the fishermen belong to... To the Al-Khawkhah and Hays districts (belonging to Al-Hudaydah Governorate) and Al-Mukha Directorate (belonging to the Taiz Governorate).”
