The North Aden Appeals Prosecution Office carried out this Wednesday morning, in the courtyard of the central prison in Mansoura in Aden Governorate, the legal retaliation ruling by firing squad until death against the convict, Akram Saeed Ali Ahmed Al-Azmi, in Criminal Case No. 15 of 2017 A.D., Sheikh Othman Primary Prosecution. For killing the victim, Tariq Fadl Al-Rabash.
For his part, the head of the Northern Aden Appeal Prosecution, Judge Yahya Nasser Al-Shuaibi, supervised the implementation of the death sentence to implement the ruling issued by the Aden Court on 11/12/2021 AD and approved by the Criminal Department, and by the Supreme Court in Case No. 15/2017 AD, J.J. And based on the directives of His Excellency the Attorney General No. 356, A.D., dated 3/5/2024 AD, issued by the Presidential Leadership Council on 2/13/2024 AD.
The ruling of legal retaliation was carried out by firing squad until death after attempts to convince and encourage the blood relatives of the victim to forgive and pardon, and after the blood guardians rejected that, and after the ruling and the implementation document were read, the sentence was implemented under the supervision of the head of the North Aden Appeals Prosecution, Judge Yahya Nasser Al-Shuaibi. And the Deputy Prosecutor of Sheikh Othman of the First Instance, and the execution of the ruling came after the efforts exerted by His Excellency the Public Prosecutor, Judge Qaher Mustafa Ali, in his keenness to expedite the procedures by ratifying before His Excellency the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, which fulfilled the blood guardians’ right to legal retribution from the convict in compliance with the Almighty’s saying: (And to you in Retaliation is a life, O people of understanding, that you may become righteous.)
The execution was attended by Judge Nasser Modhesh, Deputy Prosecutor of the Central Prison, a member of the Sheikh Othman First Instance Prosecution, Judge Minyar Abdel Aziz Al-Soruri, the Director of the Central Prison, Naqeeb Al-Yahri, and a large number of security men, notables, and citizens.
