A number of citizens in Taiz Governorate complained about the behavior taken by the rescue forces this morning by storming the post office building located on Al-Murour Street opposite School 26 and taking control of it after implementing the directives to evacuate the Al-Saqr Club in Taiz and handing it over to the club’s management.
Confirming that the rescue forces, while searching for an alternative, today, after taking control of the post office, turned off the commercial electric generators that cover large parts of the city without prior notice to the citizens.
They said that all electrical generators located inside the post office building were turned off, which led to a power outage to subscribers without prior notice, and that this measure caused damage to subscribers’ frozen items, especially grocery store owners.
They added by saying that one of the citizens had a cancer treatment for his sick wife, and the value of one drug was 18 thousand Egyptian pounds, equivalent to four hundred US dollars, and if it was left without cooling in the refrigerator, its effect ended and it turned into damage after it was damaged.
They went on to say that they were supposed to notify the participants and give them a period of at least a week for the company and the citizens to make arrangements, so that they can work on finding the appropriate solution so that they do not live in complete darkness. They must also give a period of time for the people to manage themselves.
At the conclusion of their complaint, they asked the President of the Presidential Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, to evacuate government facilities and schools so that everyone could practice their professional lives.
