The president of a Yemeni court was killed today (Thursday) by gunfire in Raymah Governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi group and located about 200 km northwest of Sanaa, according to a local source and an official statement.
An official local source told Xinhua News Agency that an armed attack targeted the head of the Salafiya Court, Judge Hamid Ali Al-Harazi, while he was passing through the “Al-Mahabasa” area of the Salafiya District in Raymah Governorate.
He confirmed that Judge Al-Harazi was hit by several gunshots, which caused his immediate death.
The source indicated that the security services, in cooperation with the people, were able to arrest one of the perpetrators following the operation.
