As part of ongoing efforts to preserve the health and safety of citizens, the competent authorities in the city of Mukalla were able to seize a large quantity of expired chicken and cheese inside one of the buffet stores.

This successful operation came after receiving information about the existence of a buffet that sells expired food products that are not fit for human consumption under the name “mobile restaurant”, located opposite Al-Aws Miqa in the Dis Al-Mukalla area.

A video revealed that the authorities seized quantities that were intended for distribution and sale to consumers without taking into account health standards and oversight, which poses a major threat to health. However, these quantities of chicken and cheese were placed in unsanitary storage conditions, which increases the risk of their use.
