On Sunday, the Emergency Committee in Al-Mahra Governorate warned residents of coastal areas of Hurricane Tej, which is currently active in the Arabian Sea.
The committee said in a statement that the hurricane is expected to hit Al-Mahra Governorate directly tomorrow, Monday, accompanied by strong winds and heavy rain.
The committee called on residents of coastal areas, especially the following areas:
* The areas, villages, and residential communities located between Haswain and Nishtun.
* Areas near the coast of Dhabout.
* Mong District.
* The edge of the plains - the outskirts of the edge of Kalshat - the scarcity area.. in Al-Ghaydah.
* All areas located in depressions and flood channels previously affected by Hurricane Laban.
By temporarily heading to nearby shelter centers specified by the committee and taking the necessary precautions, in order to avoid any risks.
The committee affirmed its confidence in God Almighty, calling on everyone to take the means of survival and safety.
