The Houthi militia admitted that it had run out of aircraft fuel at Sanaa Airport, which is under its control, confirming what was recently published in this regard, citing navigational sources.
Local sources revealed that aircraft fuel had completely run out about a week ago due to the Houthi militia’s seizure of airline aircraft. Yemen Airways, which led to the cancellation of passenger reservations and the company incurring huge losses.
The Saba Agency, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, reported that a meeting was held in Sanaa for the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, to discuss the reasons for the delay in the luggage of some passengers departing from Sanaa Airport to Queen’s Airport. A shipping source had previously said that flights Yemeni Airlines between Sanaa and Amman was reduced to one flight, and reservations for the other flight were canceled due to the complete exhaustion of fuel at Sanaa International Airport as a result of the Houthi militia seizing aircraft and operating them from Sanaa Airport only.

Receiving fuel and operating from other airports in the Republic exacerbates the crisis and siege on the Yemeni people, not to mention the heavy losses borne by travelers whose flights were canceled on their way to other countries.
