The police of the Ramah District in Hadhramaut Al-Wadi and Al-Sahara Governorate were able to arrest three people accused of imprisoning a citizen for four days and tying him with iron chains.
The police received a report from the investigation officers about strange movements near one of the properties and a quarrel between two citizens. A security force moved to the site and upon inspection it was found that there was a citizen imprisoned and chained in one of the rooms outside the building.
The perpetrators were arrested after collecting information about them, and they numbered three defendants. They admitted to the crime that they had imprisoned the citizen, tied him with iron chains, and taken him to an empty place in the desert to assault him because he had committed fraud and defrauded them by taking a sum of money amounting to 4 thousand Saudi riyals and did not fulfill his promise. They were placed in prison and referred to the Public Prosecution.
