The Yemeni government announced today the official launch of the Starlink satellite internet service, which is a high-speed internet service owned by the American billionaire Elon Musk.

Today, the General Corporation for Telecommunications in the capital, Aden, began launching the official trial phase of the “Starlink” satellite Internet service in the liberated governorates.

 This step comes after the Telecommunications Corporation and Starlink Company completed all legal procedures, met the technical requirements, completed the commercial contractual procedures, and signed the service licensing agreement. 

Our country will become within the orbit of official coverage of the satellite Internet service, starting next October.
