Even though more than 15 hours have passed since the rain fell on the city of Aden, some streets are still flooded with water without any action from the district authorities to drain it.
The accumulation of rainwater causes major obstacles for citizens, in addition to a negative impact on the asphalt layer of roads, with the possibility of the spread of diseases affecting the population due to the formation of germs in that water.
Citizens expressed their dissatisfaction with the inaction of local authorities, criticizing their failure to fulfill their duty to drain rainwater and protect roads from deterioration.
Citizens also monitored pictures showing the current state of flooded streets, warning of the possible consequences of this negligence.
