Masam removes 4,413 mines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices

The Masam Project Operations Room announced that teams removed 1,047 mines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices last week, bringing the total removed during the month of August to 4,413.
Masam Operations said in a statement that during the past week, project teams removed 973 unexploded ordnance and 54 anti-tank mines.
The statement stated that during the month of August, field teams removed 4018 unexploded ordnance and 299 anti-tank mines.
Since the launch of the project at the end of June 2018 until now, Masam’s teams have been able to clear 59,201,344 square meters of Yemeni land.
