The security forces of the capital, Aden, were able to arrest a suspect accused of attempting to assassinate a citizen in the Qat market line in the Al-Mashroua neighborhood in Al-Mudara, affiliated with Sheikh Othman District.

The director of the Al-Mamdara Police Department, Captain Salah Sheikh, indicated that they had received a report about an attempt to assassinate a citizen, named Khattab Nawaf Ahmed Qaed, by an unknown person who was on board a white reverse foxy bus bearing an Aden license plate.

Captain Sheikh added that as soon as the report was received, a number of Al-Madara police security men, along with investigation officers, moved to search and investigate this crime and uncover the perpetrators, and the victim was taken to Doctors Without Borders Hospital.

Sheikh confirmed that they were able to arrest the accused after hours of investigation and searching for the perpetrator, who is called (M.A.A.), and the crime tool that he had in his possession, which was his automatic device. An investigation report was opened with the accused about this crime, and as soon as the procedures are completed, the investigation report will be transferred.
