Meteorologist Jamil Al-Hajj reported today, Monday, that the tropical storm in the Arabian Sea has turned into a tropical depression.
He said in the weather bulletin that the tropical storm had retreated to a tropical depression, and it is clear from the image that it had retreated to a depression west of the Arabian Sea off the coast of Oman.
He added that the impact of the depression is expected to extend to the Sultanate of Oman and Al-Mahra, adding: But it is clear that the effects on Al-Mahra Governorate are not strong at this time.
He continued: It may escalate later, and it will become clear in the coming hours whether there will be a change in forecasts or not, adding at the same time that in western Yemen, the wet mass is still covering large areas in western Yemen, and cumulonimbus clouds are forming from time to time and from one region to another, as well as clouds flowing from The sea towards Hadhramaut
