Insaf Foundation for Rights and Development concluded today, in the capital, Aden, the training course on cyber blackmail crimes and gender-based violence issues, with support from the French Embassy in Yemen within the Safe Spaces Project.
The course, in which participants including judges, members of the Public Prosecution, and Ministry of Justice employees participated, aimed to provide them with the knowledge and skills necessary to deal effectively with crimes of electronic extortion and gender-based violence, in a way that contributes to protecting victims and applying the law to the perpetrators of these crimes. .
The course topics reviewed the concept of electronic blackmail and its types, and its negative effects on the individual and society, in addition to discussing the role of the judiciary and security services in confronting these crimes, and how to build effective strategies to combat them.
