Asphalting work began this morning under the supervision of Engineer Moeen Muhammad Al-Mas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund, the main center in the capital, Aden. Extensive works were done in asphalting Al-Kathiri Tour in Mansoura, financed and supervised by the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund and under the directives of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads, represented by Engineer Salem Muhammad Al-Huraizi. The Minister of Works and follow-up to the Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, as part of the work of the main line maintenance project from the ship tour to the Al-Kathiri tour, which is underway in the capital, Aden.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, accompanied by Engineer Mohamed Al-Nasser, Deputy Executive Director of the General Organization for Roads and Bridges, witnessed the asphalting works, reviewing the efforts of the party implementing the project, and the level of implementation of the works, praising the efforts made in repairing the road, and paying attention to the necessity of completing the project.
Engineer Moeen heard from Engineer Areen Abdullah Saleh, the project manager, about the progress of the work and the general situation of the road targeted in the project, and the asphalt work that began today in continuation of the work within the framework of the project, in which the implementing agency, the General Organization for Roads and Bridges, works on a daily basis to complete it in the required time. Emphasizing the continuity of the asphalting process for the tour route, which starts from the Kathiri tour until the ship tour.
Engineer Arin confirmed that the implementation of the project is continuing in implementation of the directives issued regarding the necessity of continuing the work until its completion.
The Chairman of the Fund’s General Board of Directors urged the technical teams and those responsible for the great efforts to complete the project, thanking all the efforts in continuing to reach high levels of completion that demonstrate the extent of the great achievement of the road on which the citizens are waiting for the completion of the work in order to benefit greatly from it and walk on it safely and smoothly.
It is worth noting that maintaining the main line from the ship tour to the Kathiri tour within the Mansoura District is one of the strategic projects that has a significant impact on strengthening the local community and raising the level of development within the capital, Aden.
The inauguration was attended by Engineer Mukhtar Al-Maflhi, Director General of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Engineer Safwan Fahmi, Director General of Supervision and Quality Control, Engineer Fayez Aklan, Director General of Studies and Designs, Engineer Abbas Saleh Ahmed, Director General of Emergency Maintenance, and Engineer Rami Al Shaabi, Director General of Maintenance at the General Authority for Roads.
