Today, the forces of the Aden Ring Belt were able to arrest two people accused of practicing witchcraft and sorcery, in a qualitative security operation.

According to a source in the Ring Belt Operations, members of the Rabat Point stopped a taxi coming from Sana’a Governorate, and during the routine inspection, the members of the point found a small bag containing books, papers, and tools used in acts of magic and sorcery, including a book specifically for conjuring jinn and demons.

After investigating the driver, it turned out that the bag was sent with him from Sanaa, and that there was another person in Aden who was responsible for receiving it, called (A.S.S.), who was later arrested along with his father (S.S.S.) They both hold Somali nationality, according to their passports, and one of them was found in possession of a paper containing talismans and symbols.

Adding that the necessary legal measures were taken, by issuing an arrest report on the incident and collecting all evidence, in preparation for transferring the case to the competent public prosecution, while the driver was released after taking his statement and ensuring his presence when summoned.
