He added, “The decision to continue maritime security operations in the Red Sea is taken by the European Union authorities, and France is a part of them. The Houthis began launching air strikes with drones and missiles on the Red Sea in November in what they say is solidarity with the Palestinians in the Gaza war.
The Houthis launched more than 70 attacks, sinking two ships, seizing one, and killing at least three sailors.
