In addition to the continuation of field work on many humanitarian projects, including the Medical City in Al-Mahra, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed food aid to the most needy families in Al-Masila District in Al-Mahra Governorate, as part of the sixth distribution cycle of the life-saving food aid project for the affected population in Yemen.
The project, implemented by the Al-Khair Coalition for Humanitarian Relief, includes the distribution of 297 food baskets, benefiting 2,079 individuals from the most needy groups in the areas of Al-Masila District.
The project aims to enhance food security for families suffering from acute poverty. In food security, through the distribution of periodic food aid that includes basic commodities.
The project targets 24,544 families, with a total of 253,659 individuals, in the governorates of Hadramaut, Al-Mahra, Socotra, Shabwa, Al-Hudaydah, Hajjah, Saada, Ma’rib, and Al-Jawf.
In addition, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center delivered professional tools to 24 trainees in the fields of sewing, embroidery, and beautification in Aden Governorate, as part of a project to provide decent livelihood services for the most vulnerable women and girls in Yemen, in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund.
The project, which targets 42,960 women in the governorates of Aden, Shabwa, Lahj, Al-Mahra, Ma’rib, and Hadramaut, aims to empower women and girls at risk and enhance the capabilities of those affected by gender-based violence, by providing vocational and vocational training programs, and providing psychological and social services and protection for women and girls.< br />This comes within the framework of the programs and projects provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center, which aim to care for Yemeni women and girls at all levels and provide them with their basic needs.
