As part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the level of infrastructure in the education sector in Shabwa Governorate, Engineer Al-Walid bin Laksar, supervisor of the local authority, inspected the construction work of Al-Naqoub Basic Education School in Nissab District.
This project comes as part of the generous support provided by the United Arab Emirates, with the project cost estimated at approximately 304,000 thousand US dollars.
The school consists of 12 classrooms with their annexes, in addition to an external wall. Implementation work began by the Galoum General Contracting Office, after receiving the site by leveling the ground, while preliminary excavation work for the project’s foundations continues.
Engineer Bin Laksar stressed the importance of the implementing agency’s commitment to the technical specifications and the specified completion period.
This project is considered “the culmination of the efforts of the Governor of Shabwa Governorate, Sheikh Awad Muhammad Ibn Al-Wazir,” and comes within a project to support the education sector funded by our brothers in the UAE, which aims to develop the educational infrastructure and provide a stimulating educational environment for students in the governorate.
It should be noted that this project comes within a series of generous support provided to Shabwa Governorate in a number of service and development sectors.
