The Minister of State, Governor of Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, stressed the need to develop urgent solutions to ensure water stability in Aden’s districts, and to find a radical solution to the abuses and violations faced by the Water Corporation.

Lamlas stressed, during his meeting today with the directors of the Khor Maksar Awas al-Zuhri directorates, Al-Tawahi Al-Qadi Wajdi Al-Shaabi, Al-Mualla Abdul Rahim Al-Jawi, and the director of the Water Corporation, Engineer Muhammad Bakhbira, the necessity of serious action and raising the pace of performance to confront all the problems that hinder the arrival of water to citizens in Directorates.

Lamlas stressed the need for the Water Corporation to play its actual role in addressing violations and transgressions in its various governmental, commercial, and residential locations... setting a period of one month to address the issues that require intervention, most notably random connection violations, water smuggling operations, and organizing the pumping and distribution process. .
