Naqil Health Road in Taiz Governorate witnessed, today, Sunday, September 8, a horrific traffic accident that resulted in the death of 14 people and the injury of others with injuries of varying severity. 

The tragic accident occurred in the Naqeel Al-Saha area, where a passenger bus deviated from the road and fell into a deep slope.

Initial information indicates that the accident occurred as a result of another bus breaking down in the same area, forcing the driver of the stricken bus to stop to provide assistance.

According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the ill-fated bus, whose name is Walid Al-Khalidi, got off the bus to help his driver, his friend, whose bus had broken down.

In the meantime, the bus slid off the road and fell into the abyss, resulting in the death of almost all of its passengers, while one person miraculously survived.
