The security services in Abyan Governorate were able to arrest the accused (J, S, N, A) of the murder of his uncle, the citizen Muhammad Abu Bakr Al-Hanashi, after he shot him in the head following a family dispute, which led to the immediate death of the victim.
The handover process took place after the accused fled and took refuge with another tribe, where a security campaign, under the supervision of the director of the governorate’s security and the director of the security belt in Zanzibar, led to reaching an agreement with the tribe that handed the accused over to the security forces.
After the accused was arrested, he was detained in prison to take the necessary legal measures against him.
The Abyan Security Administration expressed its thanks to the family of the accused for their cooperation with the security services, as well as to the commander of the emergency forces, Ali Awad Al-Mahouri, the director of the Shaqra Police Department, Captain Haidra Shamba, and a number of sheikhs and social figures, for their great efforts that helped in handing over the accused.
The Abyan Security Administration called on all citizens to cooperate with the security services to seize criminal cases and maintain the security and stability of the governorate.
