The Director General of Khormaksar Directorate, Awas Al-Zuhri, revealed a package of new projects that will be implemented in the educational sector and the directorate’s schools during the current year, 2024 AD.

Al-Zuhri confirmed that the local authority in Khor Maksar pays great attention to the educational sector and enhancing the infrastructure of educational facilities in the district, and this is translated through the implementation of a large number of projects during the past two years in the district’s schools, including building additional classrooms, introducing solar energy, and supplying schools with special needs and furniture. School, office, etc.

Noting that the local authority in Khor Maksar is in the process of implementing a new package of projects in the educational sector for the year 2024 AD, which is building 4 additional classrooms in the late Abdul Bari Qasim Girls’ Secondary School and building a canopy in Al-Jalaa School for Basic Education.

The local authority in Khor Maksar also included the project of supplying and installing a solar energy system in a number of district schools within the UNDP projects, which are being implemented by the Generations Without Qat organization for the year 2024 AD, which are the late Abdullah Khalifa School for Basic Education - Girls, the late Abdul Bari Qasim Secondary School for Girls, International Comprehensive School - Boys, expanding the system into Al Amal Model Kindergarten.

Indicating that the tenders for all projects have been submitted and work will begin in the coming days.
