The Abyan security forces, with close follow-up by the governorate’s security director, were able to arrest one of the most dangerous intermittent gangs that had been blackmailing citizens for some time on the international line in a narrow area in Al-Mahfad through illegal means. The three gang members were arrested:

1- A. M. M. L.

2- A. A. L.

3- M. M. A. p.

The arrest of this gang came with security efforts by Al-Majalah Security, after a qualitative operation that included monitoring and tracking, where they were caught red-handed in their crime of interrupting citizens and blackmailing them. The gang believed that it would remain out of the hands of the security forces, after it wreaked havoc in the region, but security efforts resulted in their arrest and referral to custody to take legal measures against them.

This gang is considered one of the most dangerous gangs operating in the region, as the security forces previously arrested two similar gangs, and this operation is added to the series of successes achieved by the security forces in the governorate.

With this, the security services in Abyan Governorate warn anyone who dares to harm the security of the governorate or attempt to disturb it, calling on citizens to cooperate with the security forces to enhance security and stability throughout the governorate.
