In the details of the seizure operations, the head of Hizam Al-Hawq operations, Lieutenant Colonel Ali Al-Sunaidi, explained that the Al-Alam point located at the eastern entrance to the capital succeeded in thwarting the smuggling of the quantity in two separate operations. In the first operation, a “Dina” truck carrying 176 cartons (2,763,150 capsules) was seized. ), which were hidden under bags of bran and agricultural pesticides. In the second operation, another truck of the same type was seized carrying 83 cartons (622,500 capsules) that were hidden under building materials to camouflage the smuggling operation.
He added, “In the third operation, Ras Omran Point succeeded in seizing a Shas truck loaded with 35 cartons (262,500 capsules) in the desert on one of the smuggling lines.” He explained that these capsules carry a strength of 300 mg and are classified as medicines.
