The Security Belt forces in Lahj Governorate arrested a large gang that practiced theft and pickpocketing on public lines and roads.

In the details of the operation, the operations of the Security Belt Forces in the governorate explained that the soldiers of the Security Belt Forces in the Green Sector were able to arrest a large gang consisting of six people who were pickpocketing and stealing vehicles and transport trucks as they passed through the main lines and roads of the city.

She added that the theft gang uses pickpocketing, where a group of gang members sneak onto passing and loaded vehicles and trucks and throw what is inside them down so that other gang members can take them, assemble them, and transport them to a special warehouse belonging to the gang in the Sheikh Othman area, “Kood Al-Othmani” neighborhood.

Hizam Operations indicates that it has opened a preliminary investigation into the gang members, and that the preliminary investigations revealed that the gang members carried out several thefts and pickpocketing operations, and they will be transferred to the competent authorities to complete the legal and judicial procedures against them.
