In recent days, the Houthi terrorist militia targeted the homes of citizens in the Qarin area of Al-Musaimeer District in Lahj Governorate, using heavy weapons and drones, in addition to sniper weapons.
This attack led to the destruction of a number of homes and caused serious damage to large areas of agricultural land and citizens’ property.
Intense Houthi attacks pushed the region's residents to leave their homes and move out into the open in search of safety, with reports indicating the displacement of about 300 families. These displaced people are currently suffering from tragic living conditions, as they lack food and shelter, after losing their primary source of livelihood, which was based on agriculture and livestock raising.
The residents of the Qarin region appealed to the local authorities, the legitimate government, and the Arab coalition, along with international relief organizations, to intervene quickly to provide urgent relief assistance and save them from this humanitarian disaster.
Security belt forces in the region confirmed that the Houthi militias escalated their aggression in an attempt to impose their control by targeting civilians, calling on the concerned authorities to move quickly to help the affected people and stop these violations.
