Today, the Security Belt Forces launched a security campaign targeting the phenomena of carrying unlicensed weapons and wearing military and security uniforms, tracking wanted persons and those out of order and the law, and preventing unnumbered cars in Sheikh Othman District.
During the inauguration of the campaign, the Commander of the Eighth Sector of the Aden Belt, Captain Nasser Al-Dahsli, said, “The campaign was launched this Thursday morning, in accordance with the directives of Brigadier General Jalal Al-Rubaie, Staff of the Security Belt Forces, Commander of the Aden Belt, and on its first day it was able to seize 19 pieces of automatic weapons, including “Two identified pieces, and one pistol.” He pointed out that 37 people were illegally detained wearing military or security uniforms, and the necessary measures were taken against them with a written pledge and the confiscation of the uniforms. The campaign also warned shops licensed to sell military and security uniforms not to sell them except to those who carry identification cards.< /p>
Al-Dahsli confirmed that the campaign comes in direct coordination with the head of the security committee in the district, Dr. Wissam Muawiyah, and the head of the local leadership of the Transitional Council, in cooperation with community committees and relevant parties, indicating that the campaign will continue its tasks during the coming period within the plan prepared in advance and achieving the goals. And enhancing the state of security and safety and arresting outlaws, armed men, and those who fire gunshots at weddings.
Captain Al-Dahshali called on all citizens to cooperate with the Security Belt and security forces in general to ensure the success of the efforts made in the security aspects and to enhance the state of stability, praising the role of citizens in community and security coordination, the most recent of which was the incident of arresting a thief who attempted to rob a jewelry store in the district, which is the best evidence.
