Clashes renewed this Friday morning between units of the Southern Joint Forces and militants of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia on the strategic Ahamah Front, northwest of Al-Musaimeer District in Lahj Governorate.
According to field sources, the strategic Ahama front has witnessed, since the early hours of the morning, violent confrontations between the southern forces and the terrorist Houthi militias, in which heavy and medium weapons are being used.
Sources confirmed to the media center of the Al-Hawasheb axis that the clashes come after Houthi attempts to infiltrate to establish new military barracks on the borders and heights overlooking the areas of Ahama and Halhal, which were controlled by the joint southern forces, led by the security belt in Al-Musaimeer, during the battle of Sunday, September 8, 2024.
The strategic Ahama front, northwest of Al-Musaimeer Al-Hawasheb, is one of the fiercest fighting fronts in Lahj, and connects the fronts of the western depths of the governorate with the fronts of the Azariq sector in Al-Dhalea Governorate.
