Hadhramaut tribal alliance points detained a number of locomotives transporting oil, which may cause complete darkness in Hadhramaut in order to prevent the power stations from being fed with diesel intended for their operation.

A document was revealed sent to the director of PetroMasila Company, the Commander of the Second Military Region, the head of the Joint Operations Center, and the First Undersecretary of Hadramaut Governorate to facilitate the entry and exit process of diesel locomotives based on the memorandum of understanding signed between PetroMasila Company and the Yemeni Oil Company, Hadhramaut Coast Branch, regarding supplying the stations with diesel.

The document also revealed that 6 locomotives to supply power stations were detained by the Hadhramaut tribal alliance from 8/28 to 9/13. They did not allow tankers to enter to load for 16 days, causing a disaster in Hadhramaut.
