In response to the wave of anger and dissatisfaction that swept social media sites due to the exclusion of the governorates of Aden and the south from the list of candidates, the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training, Professor Khaled Al-Wasabi, directed the cancellation of the results of the candidates for the (technical education) scholarships offered by Algeria for the year 2024 - 2025.

The Minister also announced the formation of a new committee to re-sort the files of grant applicants, headed by the Deputy Minister of Technical and Vocational Education.

This committee aims to ensure fair and comprehensive representation of all governorates of the Republic, providing equal opportunities for all students from different regions to obtain scholarships.
