The Yemen Petroleum Company - Hadhramaut Coast Branch announced a reduction in the price of diesel for consumers, in a step aimed at relieving the burden on citizens and providing the material at reasonable prices.
The oil company in Hadhramaut said that this decision comes As a result of the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through, which led to a shortage of petroleum derivatives. The company has imported large quantities of diesel across the sea to cover local needs.
According to the statement issued by the company, the new price for one liter of diesel will be (1,450) riyals instead of (1,550) riyals, after deducting the usual commissions and wages.
The company called on all company station supervisors and private station agents to adhere to the new pricing, stressing that the decision will take effect as of today, Sunday, September 15, 2024.
