An Arama court in Shabwa ruled that the accused, “Al-Ahmadi”, be executed by firing squad
Arama Court of First Instance in Shabwa Governorate held its session on Sunday morning, September 15, 2024
Headed by Judge Hamad Muhammad Al-Karithi, President of the Armaa Court of First Instance, in the presence of the Deputy Prosecutor of Armaa and Jardan First Instance Judge Nasser bin Nasser Al-Amri, in the presence of the court secretary, and in the presence of the representative of the blood relatives of the victim, Saleh Ali Saleh Muqallam, and the defendant’s lawyer, Mubarak Al-Daghari, the court issued its ruling in Criminal Case No. 4 of 2024 A.D., Arama and Jardan Prosecutor’s Office, which ruled as follows:
(1) Convicting the accused, Muhammad Abdul Mohsen Ali Al-Ahmadi, of the charge attributed to him in the indictment.
(2) The convict shall be punished with death by firing squad for killing the victim, Saleh Ali Saleh Muqallam.
(3) Obligating the convict to pay losses to the blood relatives of the victim in the amount of eight hundred thousand Yemeni riyals.
(4) The right to appeal within the legal period.
